DONKERVOORT AMBASSADOR TOUR

WEDNESDAY 6 MAY – MONDAY 11 MAY 2020
ITALY | MONACO

Just imagine. It is May 2020. The sun is shining, you walk to the garage, load your luggage, start your Donkervoort and drive away. High time to leave, because you are going on a genuine Grand Tour – the Donkervoort Ambassador Tour®. An event of unparalleled class, atmosphere and allure, this Tour, organised exclusively for Donkervoort owners, takes you along gorgeous routes to exceptional sites and first-rate hotels, with the Principality of Monaco as our final destination. Where strolling along the promenade temporarily makes way for historic race cars, heroes of yesteryear and purring engines. What an exciting close to six brilliant days full of driving pleasure, beautiful vistas, cosy conviviality and culinary delights!

How does your itinerary look?

The Donkervoort Ambassador Tour® 2020 will take place in the most beautiful regions of Northern Italy and Southern France and, after the route that brings you to the start of the Tour (*), we will start at the magisterial Byblos Art Hotel in historic Verona. From there, a route, exceptional in so many ways, unfurls before us. This route includes a section of the legendary Mille Miglia, the famous and sometimes merciless long-distance race that took place between 1927 and 1957. The other routes on our journey also present you with many challenges, all chosen for you to enjoy the roadholding, acceleration and braking power of your Donkervoort. And then, there’s the view! From the picturesque roads through the Italian countryside to the stunning Côte d’Azur and sophisticated Monaco. Variety guaranteed!

Hotels, care and technical support along the way

Of course, we will take care of providing first-class hotels, outstanding lunches and dinners and a luggage service along the way. We will also organise various activities, such as an introduction to a selection of fine Italian wines during a wine-tasting at the Agriturismo Villa Sparina Resort. And we haven’t forgotten about your Donkervoort… During the Tour, it will be looked after with love by our technical support team.

*) If desired, we can bring your Donkervoort to an agreed upon location at the beginning of the route and then, after the Tour, take it back to Lelystad for you. However, there is limited space for this service. Would you like to take advantage of this option? Please contact us about availability, pricing and reservations.

Experience the Monaco Historic Grand Prix from up close!

In addition to beautiful hotels, challenging routes and all the other treasures along the way, the Donkervoort Ambassador Tour® 2020 has another surprise in store for you. On Sunday, 10 May, you can experience the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, live, in the grandstands! A dream come true for enthusiasts and lovers of classic race cars. And for the many racers of yesteryear, who grace the event with their presence and even do some driving on the track. To give this event even more élan, we also welcome you for a stylish and relaxing boat trip along the coast in an exclusive (private) Wajer Yacht which – just like your favourite brand of car – is another fine example of Dutch craftsmanship.
