In short, in your role as hands-on Marketing Coordinator, you will contribute to the development, implementation and execution of a marketing and operational plan that achieves visible marketing goals. In addition, with your plans you know how to perfectly connect to the commercial (international) goals that Donkervoort has; now and in the future. With your knowledge, you know how to raise the level of the – modest – marketing team. You know how to encourage and lead your two marketing colleagues and the external agency with which we work and you are at the forefront of its implementation.
What will you do?
Due to the size of our company, this is a broad position that includes:
– Develop and execute company-wide marketing and communications strategies;
– Responsible for media communication;
– Copywriting: coordination and partial creation of press releases, digital content, social media posts, promotional materials;
– Content: creating, executing and/or overseeing the creation of photo, video and written content, coordinating freelancers and other content creators;
– Managing Donkervoort merchandise: developing strategy, products, distribution, licensing partners;
– Close collaboration with internal teams, such as Sales, Design and EX-CORE, as well as external collaborators;
– Work under the direct supervision of the CEO.
The ideal candidate for this role
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing roles and you have proven to be good at setting up marketing and communication projects in a diverse and international environment.
You are fully aware of relevant digital marketing tools and trends and like to keep your knowledge up-to-date. You have a hands-on mentality: you think along and determine strategy, but you are also involved in its implementation.
You are proactive, innovative, customer- and result-oriented, have an eye for detail and know how to develop and communicate a clear vision.
Keeping several balls high at once is no problem for you, you can prioritise well and have no problem meeting deadlines on both daily and long-term basis. You like working in a role where no day is the same, and you like this way of working.
You feel comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, occasionally demanding environment and like to tackle things differently or ‘against the grain’.

Well, a very nice and challenging job for 32 to 40 hours per week (hybrid work is an option), at the only sports car brand in the Netherlands.
