Online Marketing / Content Specialist

One of our ambitions is our growth as an international brand in the online domain and we are looking for an Online Marketer to further drive this growth.

In your role as online specialist, you will contribute to the development, implementation and execution of our online marketing strategy. The main goal in your role is to set up and execute the online content strategy and planning, to make Donkervoort grow further as an international brand and make sure everyone knows our brand and its unique features.

We are in the first corner of the online race (full throttle!) and we are looking for someone who will continue the race with us, with a good base of experience and a clear plan to get to the finish line together, regardless of any challenges. In this area, we are a rookie race team and – we say this in all honesty – there is still a lot to pioneer. And to conquer!

Your role at Donkervoort
As our Online Marketeer, you will continue to build our online presence and thus our international growth and reputation. You manage and optimise Donkervoort’s online marketing activities for a maximum ROI.

This includes both creation and publication of engaging content (for web, email and social media) for our global community of Donkervoort drivers and enthusiasts: after all, they play a crucial role in sharing our story.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial attitude and experience in the digital world to make us the go-to small series sports car brand!

You will work closely with your colleagues in the Marketing & Sales team.

What are you going to do?
You draw up an (online) content calendar and coordinate and optimise its correct implementation. You work together with the Marketing Manager to ensure that the content is tailored to the needs of Donkervoort drivers and enthusiasts around the world, fits our brand and brings positive results. You also ensure that the content is applied to both our owned (website) and earned (email marketing and social media) channels.

You fill our (new) website and keep it up-to-date based on our latest developments and/or news, and you make sure that the relevant content goes live on time. Social media posts and newsletters are also created (for the most part) and published by you.

You identify trends in the sector (and beyond), so that you are always up to date, and you signal any trends, opportunities or concerns early on, so so we’re ahead of the game.

Donkervoort has a very limited paid-media budget and you will therefore have to focus on inventive, original (perhaps even technical or systematic) ways to achieve maximum ROI. Keeping a close eye on performance with the help of analysis and statistics is of great importance here. And, the more successes you have, the more your budget will grow with you!

Are you ready to accelerate as our Online Marketer at Donkervoort?

The ideal candidate
You have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in online marketing / content management roles and you have proven that you are good at setting up an online marketing / content strategy in a diverse and international environment. Social Media (management) and/or E-mail Marketing hold no secrets for you and you have general knowledge of SEO/SEA.

You know how to works with a CMS, are familiar with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Hubspot, etc) and have technical knowledge and insight regarding digital marketing (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and online advertising (Search and Display).

Keeping several balls in the air at the same time is not a problem for you, you can prioritise well and meet deadlines on both a day-today and long-term basis. You like developing in a role where there is no typical day, and you love it this way 😊.

You are creative, but rather systematic and technically minded. You feel comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, occasionally questioning environment and you like to approach things differently or ‘against the grain’.

And finally: it is possible to do this job ‘remotely’. However, it is important to be able to travel to our factory in Lelystad at set times for the necessary inspiration and personal contact with your colleagues.

What do we offer you?
Well, a very nice job for 32 to 40 hours per week (part-time negotiable), at the only sports car brand in the Netherlands. You will be part of an ambitious and growing international team, where you can work independently and there is plenty of room for your own ideas and development. Your salary is in line with the market and not dependent on age or education, because your experience is what counts for us. Even more important is your personality and the match with Donkervoort.
