Maintenance & Service Technician
)
Your role at Donkervoort
In our over 40-year existence about 1,500 Donkervoorts have left the factory. Each car built by hand and according to the individual wishes of his new owner. This makes every car unique and just as different as its predecessor or successor.
The majority of our cars will come back to Donkervoort Maintenance & Service. Donkervoort is growing fast and with that the demand in and pressure on this department grows as well. We are therefore looking for an energetic, motivated and organized Maintenance & Service Technician to lead the existing driven and specialist team and to ensure that the work in this department is carried out smoothly and efficiently.
what are you going to do
You will be the main contactperson for the customers who come to bring their Donkervoort for carrying out maintenance work, modifications or damage repairs to their Donkervoort (models from 1978 to now). In addition, you contribute in restoration projects and the preparation of cars for racing (or track days). Providing an excellent quality and service is your top priority.
You receive and welcome Donkervoort drivers in a friendly and professional way and listen to their wishes, after which you provide a clear advice for the customer and a prepared work order for your department, allowing you or one of your colleagues to work efficiently and accurately on the car. You distribute the work and monitor the planning and progress of the activities of your department. If the customer comes to pick up his or her Donkervoort, you are happy to explain the executed work when required; after all, you have worked on one of their dearest possessions!
There is no standard day and you can also be asked to step into other projects or carry out activities according to our growth and / or changes.
We offer an interesting and varied job with good development opportunities at a prestigious sports car manufacturer. You work in a small and motivated team, in which every employee counts.
the ideal candidate
Completed technical automotive education, either vocational of bachelor.
Relevant experience in convincingly leading a car workshop, preferably in a comparable (sports car) environment.
Excellent command of English, both written and oral, Dutch has a strong preference.
Eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, maintain the overview, with a wide range of personalities.
You are full of energy, you can think “out of the box” and fit into our (relatively young) team.
In possession of driving license B.
And of course you have a strong affinity for and knowledge about cars and our brand!
what we offer you
It is not often the case that a car manufacturer offers its service and maintenance activities to its customers in-house; usually dealers or service points execute these activities. At Donkervoort, however, we find it highly important to maintain direct contact with not only the customer, but also with the product. The feedback received and the collection of experiences that we obtain through Donkervoort Maintenance & Service contribute to the further development of production and future models. Because something good can always become even better!
We are therefore looking for a colleague who can stand his ground. You have everything under control, are clear and convincing and have a pleasant way of managing. Your other talents lie in maintaining overview and monitoring the work processes. You know how to manage all the preconditions for an efficient, qualitative and productive workshop, so that the intended return is achieved. Your work contributes to the continued pleasure that our customers continue to experience with their Donkervoort, and that is extremely valuable to us.
