There are highly specified GTOs, and then there is this one.

This D8 GTO Individual Series was built with virtually every available option at the time. The very rare ABT power upgrade, adjustable Bosch Race ABS, electronically adjustable power steering combined with the shorter steering rack, the desirable carbon wheels and Carbon Upgrade Package 2 all come together in one car.

And the specification does not stop with the performance options. Air conditioning, heated seats, six-point harnesses and a fully Tailor Made interior make this an exceptionally complete GTO.

With only 1,700 kilometres driven, it is also an exceptionally fresh example.

The first thing you notice is the colour. Lamborghini Viola Mithras is anything but subtle. In direct sunlight it becomes a bright metallic purple, while in lower light much deeper violet and blue tones appear. It works particularly well on the GTO because of the contrast with all the exposed carbon.

But the colour is only part of the story.

This is quite simply one of the most complete and formidable GTOs we have produced.

Exterior

Viola Mithras gives the car a completely different character depending on the light and angle from which you see it.

The exterior is combined with Carbon Upgrade Package 2, including the distinctive Hyper Fibre carbon. Instead of the conventional diagonal carbon weave, Hyper Fibre uses the characteristic square pattern that can be seen throughout the exposed carbon parts of the car.

The carbon wheels complete the specification. Besides their appearance, they reduce rotating and unsprung mass, fitting perfectly with the lightweight philosophy of the GTO.

It is a configuration where the paint, carbon and wheels were clearly chosen as one complete package rather than as separate options.

Interior

The same approach continues inside.

The Tailor Made interior was created to match the exterior specification of the car, making the cabin feel every bit as individual as the bodywork.

Despite the extreme specification, this was not built as a stripped-out track car. Air conditioning, seat heating, power steering and a reversing camera make it considerably easier to enjoy on longer journeys and in everyday use, while the driving position and compact cockpit remain unmistakably Donkervoort.

It is a GTO you can take out for a serious drive, but equally one you can actually use.
