Donkervoort D8 GTO Induvidual Series 2022
Every Donkervoort reflects the personality of the person who created it. Some are configured with a clear focus on the racetrack. Others are designed to cover long distances in comfort. This particular D8 GTO Individual Series was created to do both and to do so with an unmistakable sense of style.
Delivered new to its first and only owners, this GTO was not simply one person’s weekend car. It belonged to a couple who selected and enjoyed the car together, primarily on the Isle of Man. That shared ownership is reflected in its specification: expressive and sporting on the outside, but warm, refined and surprisingly comfortable once you step into the cockpit.
The exterior is finished in AMG Sunbeam Yellow, a colour that emphasises every curve, air outlet and exposed carbon-fibre surface of the GTO. It gives the car an energetic presence without overshadowing the finer details of its specification.
Inside, the atmosphere changes completely.
The cockpit is finished in rich Chestnut leather, giving the car a warmth rarely seen in a lightweight sports car. Yellow contrast stitching connects the interior to the exterior, while the quilted leather sections and carefully selected brown materials give the cabin an almost traditional grand-touring character.
Even the wheels form part of the story. Their high-gloss brown finish was selected to complement the Chestnut interior, creating a connection between the exterior and cockpit that is subtle, unusual and clearly intentional.
Nothing about this specification feels accidental.

interior
Where the exterior presents this GTO with energy and confidence, the interior introduces an entirely different atmosphere.
The cockpit is upholstered in rich Chestnut leather, giving the car a warm and almost classical character. It is an unusual choice for a lightweight sports car, but one that works exceptionally well in combination with the exposed carbon-fibre structure.
The seats feature quilted leather sections, while the yellow contrast stitching creates a direct connection with the AMG Sunbeam Yellow exterior. The same tones continue throughout the centre tunnel, side panels and interior trim, making the cabin feel carefully composed rather than simply optioned.
Even the high-gloss brown wheels were chosen to reflect the colour of the leather. This creates a visual connection between the exterior and interior that is subtle, personal and clearly intentional.
The result is a cockpit that feels both sporting and refined. It retains the compact, driver-focused environment of a Donkervoort, while adding a level of warmth and craftsmanship rarely found in a car of this nature.
Together with the Touring setup and air conditioning, the interior makes this GTO particularly inviting for longer journeys. It is a place designed not only for performance, but also for spending time together on the road.

This GTO Individual Series is a perfect example of how the right specification can broaden the Donkervoort experience without taking away any of its intensity.
Its Touring setup and air conditioning make it genuinely suited to longer journeys, while the lightweight chassis, manual transmission and unmistakable five-cylinder character remain completely intact. This is not a track-focused Donkervoort that was made more comfortable afterwards; it was carefully conceived from the beginning as a car to travel with, explore in and enjoy together.
Coming directly from its first ownership, the car has covered just 12.000 kilometres and was primarily enjoyed on the Isle of Man. During its intake inspection, no exterior, interior or technical damage points were recorded. No previous accident damage or repairs were declared either.
