Donkervoort S8AT 1990
Meet the “Red Baron”, the Donkevoort S8AT that embodies the spirit of a legendary nickname. Just like the fearless pilots who ruled the skies in their nimble single-seater planes, this car delivers a raw, unfiltered driving experience that will make every journey feel like an acrobatics show.
Originally born as a long-wing S8AT, this car was converted with short wings, sharpening its stance and improving its agility even further. Underneath, modern Intrax shock absorbers ensure razor-sharp handling, while a rally meter and modern gear knob bring a blend of heritage and modern functionality to its cockpit.
The S8AT retains a special place in Donkervoort history as the first model to feature in-house engine development. Donkervoort’s own engineers developed and fitted a turbocharger to the Ford Pinto engine, raising its power output from 115hp to an impressive 170 hp. The result was a car that feels light, agile, and explosively quick — a perfect match for the brand’s uncompromising philosophy of lightweight performance.
Optically and technically, the "Red Baron" is in mint condition; a testament to the care and attention it has received over many years. The lightweight chassis, powerful turbocharged engine and analogue feel deliver sensations that simply cannot be found in modern sports cars.
The car comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity.

He meticulously maintained, upgraded and perfected every aspect of this car, bringing it to a level of mechanical and optical excellence that is rarely seen in a car of this age.
